This is a very versatile pattern that can be made with a variety of fabrics such as leather, denim, twill, etc. for the jacket and shorts and the dress polyester and satin as pictured or it would be adorable in a cotton or blend for a more casual look. Try making the dress in a print with a solid color waistband bow and border. The pattern pieces in this pattern can be used in a variety of ways. The jacket pattern would make a great vest if you leave off the sleeves. The shorts pattern would be a great skirt by leaving off the cuffs and sewing the front and back seams straight, cutting off the crotch part of the pattern.
